Where the register contradicts itself
Broken invariants
Confession of faith before baptism (1)
Confession of faith follows baptism. Reversed, one of the two dates is wrong.
What to do: Correct whichever date the church's record contradicts.

Contradictions
Has a maiden name but is recorded as Brother (1)
A maiden name is a female-marked attribute. It is not conclusive on its own — a man's record sometimes carries his wife's maiden name — which is exactly why this is a question and not a correction. On the GKBO register 15 of 17 were women and 2 were men.
What to do: Check the first name, and whether the spouse is a Sister: a Brother with a Sister spouse is corroborated by the couple, and the maiden name is probably his wife's.

Worth a look
Profession recorded, but no baptism (1)
Confession of faith follows baptism. There is a profession event here, but no baptism event and no baptism date on the member — the baptism is nowhere in the register.
What to do: Record the baptism (Baptism on the member record, back-captured if it was long ago). Dismiss if the baptism is genuinely unknown.

Adult roled as `child` (10)
Usually correct — an adult child living at home. Worth a look past about 35, where it more often means the household was never updated after they moved out.
What to do: If they have their own home, give them their own household; the member number follows them.

Adult baptised member (1)
NOT a defect. An adult baptised as an infant who never made confession of faith remains a baptised member — age does not determine member type. Listed only so the church can see who has not yet made confession of faith.
What to do: Pastoral, not clerical. Change the type only when a confession of faith actually happens.

Married, but no spouse in the household (1)
Legitimate when the spouse is not a member, or has died without the status being updated. Only a defect if the spouse IS in the household under another role — and on the GKBO register none was, so treat this as bookkeeping rather than a role error.
What to do: If the spouse is a member, place them in the household as `spouse`. Otherwise dismiss.

Completeness
| Birth date | 261 / 261 | Drives every age-based list and all the age cross-checks in this report. | |
| Baptism date | 250 / 261 | Without it, member type cannot be checked against the sacrament that defines it. 15 baptism/confession-of-faith events exist in membership_events and can be transferred. | |
| Confession of faith date | 191 / 261 | The one direct test of whether someone should be a confessing member. | |
| Sex | 261 / 261 | Since v35 the column everything derives from — the mother of a household, the couple invariant, the salutation itself. | |
| Salutation | 198 / 261 | The form of address only, now that `sex` carries the fact it used to double as. | |
| — of those, verified by the office | 198 / 198 | The rest were written by an import or the inference — a working value, but not one to sign a ward list on. | |
| Marriage status | 261 / 261 | WEDUWEE/WEWENAAR are sex-marked, which makes this the strongest independent check on a salutation. |
