Since 1962
Our History
The story of a (fictional) congregation
Grace Reformed Church Harbour Ridge
Grace Reformed Church began in 1962 as a small house church of eleven families who met in a school classroom in Harbour Ridge. The congregation was instituted in 1965, and the present church building on Chapel Lane was dedicated in 1971.
Over six decades the congregation has grown into a warm community of about two hundred and fifty members in eight wards, served by a minister, a council of elders and deacons, and many willing hands.
Our calling
We want to be a congregation where every believer:
- grows in the knowledge and love of God through the preaching of the Word
- cares for one another as members of one body
- serves the city and the nations with the gospel of grace
“
“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.”
