Confessions
What We Believe
The confessions are the church's summary of what Scripture teaches. They were written over many centuries, often in times of conflict, to state the central truths of the faith clearly and with one voice. Reformed churches receive them as faithful expressions of biblical teaching — subordinate to Scripture, but authoritative as the confession of the congregation.
